Dreams We Redeem

The Pursuit of Happiness

The essence of the pursuit of happiness is the freedom to chase your dreams, especially the occupation of your choice, without unjustified interference by the government. After all, improving your life through hard work is the heart of the American Dream.

Unfortunately, aspiring strivers too often find that the powerful have rigged the game in their favor, using their control of the political system to manipulate the rules and hoard opportunity. We aim to dismantle these anticompetitive barriers, freeing individuals to develop their talents, pursue opportunity, and take responsibility for their lives and well-being.

Equality of Opportunity

The principle that we are all equal before the law is foundational to the American Dream. Countless civil rights leaders have fought to ensure our country lives up to that promise, and generations of Americans have benefitted from their efforts.

Yet today, government officials increasingly award opportunity to some and deny it to others based on race, sex, or other immutable characteristics. Worse, these policies are instigated by powerful forces who seek to undermine the constitutional principles that bring Americans from all walks of life together. We seek to end this destructive practice and ensure that all Americans can rise together.

Individual Liberty

Individual liberty is the fundamental idea of the American Dream. It is expressed in our Constitution’s commitment to the broad freedoms that are essential to the pursuit of happiness, including the right to speak your mind freely, to worship according to the dictates of your conscience, to direct the education and upbringing of your children, and to defend your life and family.

Sadly, special interests all too often convince the government to limit these freedoms instead of protecting them. We work to extend the blessings of liberty withheld from some by government so that all can share fully in the American Dream.
